Chickenshed moves to Kensington & Chelsea!

All-inclusive north London theatre Chickenshed are branching out to Kensington and Chelsea. They will join The Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor and Mrs Timothy Coleridge, with FOCUS K&C, the Mayoral Charity for 2009/10, to celebrate the launch of a new permanent Inclusive Theatre project for Kensington & Chelsea on Wednesday 28 April at 7 pm. Keynote speaker will be Chickenshed supporter James Murdoch.

Legal Aid Clinic launched

Mentally ill people in Madurai, India will be able to receive legal aid thanks to an initiative supported by the MS Chellamuthu Trust and Research Foundation. They have joined forces with the Madurai District Legal Service Authority and the Madurai Bar Association to launch the Legal Aid Clinic.

Tamwed’s bargain curry night

Teach A Man To Fish Announce Award Winners

Teach A Man To Fish, the international non-profit organisation working to educate in developing countries, sends us news of its third annual Educating Africa Awards 2009. The top three prize winners - Educate!, House of Nations and Mama Zimbi - were selected by a panel of international judges from a pool of 260 applicants from across Africa.
